A sudden change in our daily routine can be intimidating to a level where it triggers anxiety and even panic attack. The effect at the moment is amplified especially when stress level is compounded by worries about staying safe, getting job done, sourcing for toilet papers and one could only imagine how it could be worse for business owners.
The first step to manage anxiety is of course to take a deep breath and give your mind a little space for mindfulness. The idea is to not let yourself be overwhelmed with anxiety that causes panic. Take a step back. Find that balance and calm. Develop new positive habits. Declutter your space. These are all the things that can be done to keep your anxiety in check. In short, PAUSE. Take a quick pause every now and then.
Also, get a good night sleep. It’s not a surprise that many are losing their good sleep when we are not governed by a daily work schedule.
